Woman with prior drug conviction sentenced to prison in Fall River court on Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl charge
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn, III announced that a 40-year-old woman pled guilty and was sentenced before the Honorable Raffi Yessayan in the Fall River Superior Court.
Sherri Fagone of New Bedford was sentenced to serve 1 1/2 to 4 years in the State Prison for Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Catherine Sauter.
On July 12, 2023, the Massachusetts State Police executed a Search Warrant at Fagone’s residence of 434 North Front Street, Apt 1 in New Bedford. The defendant was the listed target. She was cooperative with police during the search warrant execution, where she pointed out 47 grams of Fentanyl in her bedroom along with $645 in cash. A small bag of fentanyl was also found on her.
Fagone has one prior drug conviction out of the district court from 2019.
