Woman who taught for decades at multiple schools in the Fall River school system has died
A Fall River woman who educated city youth for decades has died.
According to an obituary, 75-year-old Bernadette (DeNardo) Silva passed away last week.
“Bernadette dedicated her life to family and education. A proud graduate of Bridgewater State College in 1972, she went on to serve as a devoted teacher in the Fall River school system for 34 years. Her commitment to her students and her community left a lasting impression on generations of learners.”
Bernadette also “found great joy in spending time with her loved ones.”
Bernadette’s family will be arranging a memorial mass at a yet to be determined date to celebrate her life.
