Woman transported by medflight after being seriously injured in Bristol County dog attack

A Bristol County dog attack has left a woman seriously injured.

According to scanner transmissions, at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, crews responded to an Oak Street home in Dighton for a woman who was injured by a dog.

The patient was later transported by medflight after being taken to the landing zone at Dighton–Rehoboth High School.

Fall River Reporter contacted Dighton first responders for an update on the incident and they referred us to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. Multiple requests were made to the DA and have not yet been answered.
