Woman suffers several injures after rollover crash on Route 44 takes out utility poles.

Police, fire, and EMS crews responded to a rollover crash with injures on Wednesday.

At around noon, a call came in for a motor vehicle accident on Winthrop Street (Route 44) between River and Broad Streets in Rehoboth.

According to scanner transmissions, the collision involved multiple cars and utility poles down.

Crews located a woman unresponsive and trapped in a vehicle. She was extricated and transported to an area hospital.

A woman who stated that the injured was her daughter revealed that she suffered a concussion, fractured foot, and fractured lower back, among other injuries.
