Woman shares her scary experience after she was reportedly shot at while driving down Route 24
A woman is understandable shaken up after her car was struck by a bullet on Route 24.
Ashley Lyons described her scary experience.
“Driving from my Bridgewater store (Thursday) around 3:15 p.m. (24 northbound near Brockton) I was shot at – a BB or pellet gun, buck shot, ect. – while driving in the fast-lane. My entire window shattered, I kept my cool, pulled over, and called 911/State Massachusetts State Police. I waited over an hour. They never even came. I can’t and won’t sit here imagining what would have happened had my son been in his car seat. Disappointed and shaken up would be an understatement, but everyone, please be safe and aware of what could happen – and hug those littles just a little tighter when they wake up in the morning.”
The above pictures were taken by Lyons of the shattered window with pieces of glass all over the inside of the vehicle.
She stated that Massachusetts State Police told her that they could not find her which is why they didn’t show up.
Fall River Reporter contacted Massachusetts State Police and have not received a response as of this writing.

The State Police “couldn’t find her?” on 24?! That’s not very reassuring.
