Woman looking for help after delivery driver allegedly hit pet dog, put her in bag in Fall River

A pet owner is looking for help after she says her dog died after being hit by a vehicle in Fall River.

According to Eliana, the dog’s owner, a driver that was delivering packages for Walmart ran over her 16-year-old chihuahua on Michael Street just before 6:00 p.m. on Friday.  

Eliana stated the male driver simply asked the neighbor for a bag, put her inside and drove off with her body.

The delivery vehicle also had a passenger.

Eliana is looking to have the dog returned to her but has come up empty so far.

“We are in contact with the police to try to get somewhere. We have called Walmart corporate and filed a claim, but they want me to wait 7-10 days. I called them again this morning and they said, “our turnover is 7-10 days.” No help!”
