Woman held without bail in Fall River Superior Court on drug trafficking charge

A woman has pled not guilty in Fall River Superior Court concerning a drug trafficking charge.

The Fall River Police Department executed a successful search warrant on Blackstone Street targeting illegal drug activity and firearms.

27-year-old Tarsha Sousa was arrested on multiple Firearm Related Offenses and Trafficking >100g Cocaine, according to police.

44-year-old Marteze Taylor was also charged with multiple Firearm Related Offenses and Trafficking >100g Cocaine

Sousa was indicted on June 26th on a charge of Trafficking Cocaine More Than 36 Grams, Less Than 100 Grams.

According to court records, Sousa was held without bail at her arraignment Tuesday morning pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for July 17th.
