UPDATE: Police announce names involved in yesterday’s murder-suicide in Providence
Two people are dead after a tragic incident in Providence Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. a 48 year old woman was shot and killed by her 50 year old estranged husband in the 400 block of Charles Street.
After the shooting, the suspect fled into another home on Charles Street and it was later confirmed that he took his own life in another shooting.
Police have confirmed that the victim is identified as Berta Hudson. The subject responsible is identified as Oscar Hudson.
