A Massachusetts woman has been arrested for allegedly robbing a disabled person of a large sum of money.

According to West Springfield Police, on April 8th, Danielle Zucco arrived unexpectedly at a Westfield Street apartment of an acquaintance, and used the ruse of an injury to gain entry into the apartment.

While in the apartment, Zucco again used a ruse to separate herself from the resident, who suffers from multiple disabilities. She then entered a room and gained access to a small safe, which contained a significant amount of cash.

After Zucco remained separated from the resident in the apartment for an extended period of time, the victim became suspicious and made entry into the room. The victim observed Zucco crawling out of the window, while handing the safe to an unknown individual waiting outside. The couple then fled the apartment complex in a black sedan.

On April 9th, Detectives tracked down and arrested Zucco without incident.

At the time of Zucco’s arrest, 5 baggies of heroin stamped “Yeezy” were located on her person.

Zucco was charged with Larceny Over $250 from a Disabled Person, Entering a Dwelling by False Pretenses for a Felony, Larceny from a Building, and Possession of a Class A Drug (heroin).
