With community help, Fall River Police make arrest concerning vandalism of Fall River Police Memorial

Police and city residents combined to help capture a suspect accused of vandalism.

According to police, earlier this afternoon, with the invaluable support of the community, FRPD were able to successfully identify, locate, and apprehend 29-year-old Lim Rodrigues in connection with his involvement in the vandalism of the Fall River Police Memorial.

During the investigation, it was determined that Rodrigues is suffering from severe mental health challenges at this time. Police stated that he will be charged accordingly, however, the focus has now shifted toward ensuring he receives the appropriate care and support necessary to address these issues.
