A recent big Massachusetts winner on a State Lottery scratch ticket has some heartwarming plans for the cash.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, The JANLC Trust of Quincy has claimed a $2,500 a week for life prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “$2,500 a Week for Life” $10 instant ticket game that went on sale on Tuesday, February 18.

The trust, represented by trustee Natalie Logan, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,000,000 (before taxes). According to the trustee, the winner plans to use their winnings to “help make the world a better place, especially for their dog.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Winners Corner, 2302 Turnpike St. in North Andover. The store receives a $26,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
