The Fall River Police Department recently posted call statistics for May and April. What does the data tell?

Fall River police officers responded to 15 calls per day involving verbal or physical disputes or issues – nine domestic calls, four mental health calls and two fights per day. There was an increase of 50 domestic calls in May compared to April, a 23% increase.
Motor vehicle accidents also spiked in May. Fall River police officers responded to 409 accidents in May compared to 299 in April, a 37% increase. That’s 14 motor vehicle accidents in Fall River daily.
Arrests remained steady at just over 10 per day or just over 300 each month.
