Westport Police issue warning to the public concerning counterfeit $100 bills
Westport Police are warning the public after counterfeit bills were recently passed.
According to police, a local business recently received the above false $100 bill. At first glance it may appear to be real, but there are obvious indicators it is not.
Police warn that businesses should be vigilant in inspecting currency they take for payment of goods or services.
