Westport man arrested by Dartmouth police for upskirting
Dartmouth Police arrested him after receiving a complaint at a local store
DARTMOUTH, MA – On Friday, May 4th, Dartmouth Police arrested Craig Tavares, 30, of 52 Davis Road, Westport, after receiving a complaint that Tavares was inside the Walmart at 506 State Road utilizing his cell phone to attempt to photograph or video under the skirt of a female patron.
After Tavares was located, and an investigation was conducted, Tavares was subsequently arrested and charged with Photographing, videotaping or electronically surveilling partially nude or nude person or the sexual or other intimate parts of a person around the person’s clothing “Upskirting.”
No further information is available regarding court proceedings.
