Westport, Dartmouth, Tiverton, Rehoboth Fire Departments among those battling large blaze at facility

The Westport Fire Department continues to battle a large blaze that started early Tuesday afternoon.

At just after 1:30 p.m., a call came in for an exterior fire at Excel Recycling at Charlotte White Road.

As of 3:30 p.m., crews were still battling the flames.

The road is currently blocked.

Dartmouth, Rochester, Freetown, Raynham, Berkley, Swansea, Rehoboth, Lakeville, Tiverton, RI, and Little Compton, RI. are among those that have responded to the scene with water tankers.
