Westport, Dartmouth crews respond to serious Route 6 crash with ejection

Several local crews responded to a serious crash on Friday evening.

According to WFD, Westport Firefighter/Paramedics are currently working alongside Dartmouth Fire District 3 and Dartmouth EMS, at a very serious crash on Route 6 in the vicinity of the Dartmouth/Westport Town line.

Scanner transmissions revealed that the call came in at just after 7:30 p.m. with a report of multiple injuries and at least one person was ejected with CPR being performed.

The road is shut down in the area.
