“The morning started calm, quiet & overcast. Often the seals hang by the shore, but today was different…the dogs & screaming kids couldn’t spook them off!! A good friend Peter said “they are not moving because there’s a shark out there.” A few hours later, the 1st group of kayaker/fishermen head out…and within minutes…..SHARK!!! Less then 10 feet from shore, approximately 12-14 feet long and 3-4 feet wide!!! It swam back & forth in front of us for about 10 minutes….pretty AMAZING!!! And no injuries!!”
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy wants to remind the public that this is a good example and a reminder of how close to shore white sharks can get.
