VIDEO: Local organization reunites fourth-generation Marine with Fall River family for holidays
One of the most special kinds of holiday moments took place Saturday for a Fall River family.
Miles for Military, an organization that connects travel resources for active military members in exchange for volunteer service, made it possible for PFC Antonio Marcucci, a fourth-generation Marine, to reunite with his Fall River family for the holidays.
According to MFM, PFC Marcucci, who is stationed at Camp Lejeune and serves in an unmanned aerial system unit, arrived home to Massachusetts on, of all days, Pearl Harbor Day, making the occasion even more meaningful as we honor military service and sacrifice.
Thanks to the organization’s unique program, PFC Marcucci’s flight home was made possible through volunteer service he performed at his base.
