UPDATE: Fall River Police arrest suspect in purse snatching of elderly woman
UPDATE: Fall River Police have issued an update that this morning, Brandon Arruda was captured.
According to Captain Jay Huard, on March 1st, at approximately 4:53 p.m., 30-year-old Brandon Arruda allegedly stole a purse from a 70-year-old elderly female as she was exiting the Seabra Supermarket located at 440 Stafford Road.
The suspect was seen running west on Duncan Street from Stafford Road.
