Victim identified from fatal crash on Route 3
The name of the victim in a fatal Route 3 crash has been released.
At approximately 4:40 pm yesterday Troopers from State Police-Norwell responded to calls of a single-vehicle crash into the guardrail on Route 3 northbound in Duxbury at the 21.2 mile marker. Upon the arrival of troopers on scene they discovered the male operator and sole occupant of the vehicle deceased.
The driver of the Nissan Altima killed in yesterday’s crash on Route 3 is Duxbury has been identified as Marcos Dossantos, 43 of Marshfield.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section.
