Veterans’ Association in Fall River needing donations
Jimmy Rebello, a retired MP in the Army, served during the Carter administration from 1978-1981. Jim volunteers his time at the Veterans’ Association on Pine St. and is in charge of giving the veterans free clothing and any other household items they may need. If you are looking to help local citizens that have served our country, a list of the items they are collecting to distribute is below.
They are looking for:
- shoes (size 12 and up)
- men’s winter coats
- winter boots
- sheets
- blankets
- comforters
- new pillows
- new underwear in packages
- hygiene items.
Donations can be dropped off at 755 Pine St in Fall River from 8am to 4pm. You can also contact them at (508) 679-9277.
