Vehicle crash into guardrail near Route 179 shuts down roadway
A vehicle crashed into a guardrail this week near Route 179 which shut down a local roadway.
Accord to personnel, on Monday December 26th, the Little Compton Fire Department responded to Colebrook Road in the area of Adamsville hill for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, crews found a late model pickup truck that struck the guardrail in front of Old Stone Orchard.
The roadway was temporarily shut down while DOT and tow truck operators cleared the roadway of the guardrail and debris.
Thankfully, the vehicle operator declined medical treatment and transport.
