On Friday, June 22nd at approximately 2:09 am, Fall River Police Department Uniform Division Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Pine Street near North Main Street in regards to a ‘shots fired’ call.

At the same time, Officer Joseph Kubicek relayed that he was at Charlton Memorial Hospital with a 29-year-old female who stated to him that she had been shot in the foot on Pine Street.

On their arrival on Pine Street, Officers Nicholas Hoar, Guy Furtado, and Neil Rodrigues located two additional victims, a female age 42, who had been shot in the foot, and a male, age 22, who had been struck in the shin.

Witnesses stated a group of friends had gathered outside on the sidewalk and were having a good time when they heard the sound of a car driving by and then the sound of gunshots.

The vehicle was described as a small compact four-door sedan. After the gunshots, the vehicle fled east on Pine Street.

The 22-year-old male and the 29-year-old female at Charlton were transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries. The 42-year-old female refused any assistance for her injury.

A house and a vehicle were also struck by gunfire. The Major Crimes Divisions Crime Scene Unit responded to process the scene and collect evidence.

On Monday, June 11th, 6 to 12 rounds were fired off in the same general area. A van was discovered to have multiple bullet holes.
