The search is on for an aircraft that appears to have disappeared off the coast of Massachusetts.
The United States Coast Guard has announced that they are searching for a Gulfstream aircraft with 6 persons on board.
The plane was traveling from Bermuda to Boston. The current search area is off the coast of Nantucket.
The aircraft is a Gulfstream G100, a twin-engine, super-light, mid-size business jet.
The FAA reported losing contact with the aircraft early Saturday morning.
The United States Coast Guard air & surface crews have launched in search of the aircraft.

- HC-130 Hercules crew from AirSta Elizabeth City
- MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from AirSta Cape Cod
- 47-foot MLB crew from Station Brant Point
- FRC William Sparling (WPC-1154)
