UMass Dartmouth graduate, Plymouth resident, killed in highway crash
A woman from southeastern Massachusetts is dead after a crash Saturday morning.
According to Tim McGuirk of Media Relations, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Troopers from the Bourne barracks responded to a single car crash on Route 3 near exit 13 in the Town of Plymouth.
The operator, 24-year-old Jaiden K. Andrews of Plymouth, was reported to State Police shortly before the crash as driving erratically in the Town of Kingston. She sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
Andrews was a graduate of UMass Dartmouth and was a decorated track star. Her many accolades included All-DIII New England – 100-m Hurdles in 2023. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society also in 2023. Andrews was also under Dynasty Models Talent Agency.
The State Police Crime Scene, the Plymouth Fire Department, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and continue to investigate the crash.
