Typical Massachusetts gas station trip turns into $1 million State Lottery win on instant game

It is unavoidable. We all need to take a trip to the gas station now and then, however, they don’t typically result in a huge State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Red Oak Nominee Trust of 2026 of Quincy has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Ronald Kearns, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Gulf, 451 Massachusetts Ave. in Lunenburg. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
