Two transported to trauma center after rollover crash on Route 195
Two were seriously injured after a weekend crash on Route 195.
A call came into dispatch just before 11:00 a.m. Saturday for a one car accident in the median of Route 195 near exit 29.
The Fairhaven Fire Department responded to the roll over crash where two adult occupants and one dog were extricated from the vehicle.
Responders asked for a medical helicopter to transport the victims, but the request was later canceled.
Both occupants were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital trauma center.
Fairhaven Animal Control responded and assisted by taking the dog who was not injured.
Mutual aid was provided by Mattapoisett Police/EMS.
