Dark window tint continues to lead to arrests by Massachusetts State Police.

According to Massachusetts State Police, while patrolling Route 146 in Uxbridge, a Trooper assigned to the Millbury Barracks stopped a vehicle with a heavily tinted windshield. The Trooper identified the driver and quickly learned his license was suspended. Upon further investigation, Troopers discovered the driver was wanted for charges related to an outstanding criminal case and placed him under arrest.

Prior to towing, the Trooper inventoried the vehicle and found a loaded Smith and Wesson .40 caliber pistol, which was reported stolen in 2018. This discovery resulted in additional charges against the driver who is a convicted felon not licensed or legally allowed to possess firearms. The driver was transported to the barracks for booking.

The name of the suspect was not released.

Massachusetts State Police recently arrested multiple people in Bristol County after a 2nd traffic stop due to dark window tint.
