Two sent to the hospital after two vehicle collision with heavy damage in front of Lakeville church before mass
A local crash just before mass on Sunday sends two people to the hospital.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 9:12 a.m. in front of St. Martha & Mary Church on Bedford Street just before 9:30 a.m. mass.
Two vehicles collided, sustaining heavy damage.
Ambulance 3 transported an adult female to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. Ambulance 2, with recalled firefighters, transported an adult female to Morton Hospital in Taunton with minor injuries.
Traffic was disrupted for more than 20 minutes as first responders processed the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
