Two people rushed to the hospital after Fall River rollover crash
Two people were injured after an accident that took place Thursday evening in Fall River.
A call came in just after 9:00 p.m. for a rollover crash with entrapment in the 900 block of Bay Street.
According to the Fall River Fire Department, members from Engine 5, Ladder 2, Fall River Fire Dept. Rescue 1 and Car 3 responded to the scene. Crews responded quickly as they were already out returning from a prior call.
All crews engaged in operations by first stabilizing the vehicle, then providing patient access for the Emergency Medical Department. Crews then used multiple hand tools to extricate 2 adult patients.
EMS provided on scene care and transported both to St. Luke’s Hospital Trauma Center.
Fall River Police also responded to the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
