Two pedestrians seriously injured in Norfolk County hit and run
Crews responded Monday to a pedestrian collision that left multiple people injured.
According to police, at just before 7:15 p.m., Needham Police were notified that 2 people had been struck by a motor vehicle in the intersection of Hunnewell Street and West Street.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene. Witnesses described the vehicle as a dark colored Honda sedan or SUV. Vehicle parts left on scene are also from a Honda vehicle.
Both victims sustained serious injuries and were transported to Beth Israel (Boston) by Needham Fire Department.
The operator later identified themselves to police.
No names were released.
