Two motorcycle riders were injured, one with life-threatening injuries, after separate morning crashes
Two motorcycle riders were injured in separate crashes Thursday morning.
Lakeville firefighters were alerted to a motorcycle crash on Rhode Island Road just after 4:00 a.m. this morning. Responders arrived to find an adult male down with life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were found to be involved.
Paramedics initiated advanced life support treatment and transported the patient to St Luke’s Hospital Trauma Center. The patient’s current condition is not known.
Just before 8:30 am this morning, firefighters were dispatched to Main Street at Riverside in Lakeville for a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported from the scene to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
With the holiday approaching, the Lakeville Fire Department would like to remind everyone to drive with caution and never drive impaired.
