Two injured, one seriously, after multi-vehicle Bristol County collision

A weekend Bristol County crash resulted in serious injuries.

According to the Mansfield Fire Department, at 3:41 p.m. on Sunday, Engine 32 and Rescue 36 responded to the intersection of West Street at Forbes Blvd for a reported serious 2 vehicle crash.

Uponn arrival, responders found 2 vehicles with 2 injured parties. Rescue 35 was also subsequently dispatched for the second patient. 1 patient was transported to BMC South in Brockton with moderate injuries and 1 patient was transported to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center with serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation by the Mansfield Police Department.
