Two Fall River residents have been arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop.

According to Acushnet Police, on Tuesday, April 13 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a white Nissan Sentra was pulled over for speeding on Slocum Road. The operator, Robin Lyn Laroche, of Fall River, had a suspended driver’s license and two active arrest warrants. During the arrest, a knife was located around her neck.

The vehicle’s passenger, Jose L. Cruz, also of Fall River, was asked by officers if he had any weapons in his possession; he admitted to having a knife as well, which was kept in his front pants pocket.
