Two drivers cited, two transported to hospital, after multi-vehicle crash in Fall River
Two drivers have been cited after a morning multi-vehicle crash in Fall River.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Officers responded the area of 512 Plymouth Avenue regarding a reported motor vehicle collision.
Once on scene the investigating officer learned that the operator of a Honda sedan swerved to avoid a rear-end collision with another vehicle. His actions caused him to cross the median and strike a parked vehicle. The operator of the second vehicle observed the Honda attempt to avoid striking his vehicle and attempted to move sharply out of his way. His actions caused him to strike a guardrail in the area of 512 Plymouth Avenue.
The driver and passenger of the Honda sedan were transported to Saint Anne’s Hospital for medical evaluation.
Both operators were cited at the scene of the accident for marked lanes violations.

Got to love the state police style of citation. Marked lane violation. Trying to avoid an accident and still getting screwed.

Fall River Police seldom, if ever, release the names of folks who are just cited. They were not arrested/charged
