Two Cumberland Farms stores temporarily close for cleaning due to COVID-19 case
Two local Cumberland Farms stores have closed temporarily for cleaning due to a COVID-19 positive case.
According to a spokesperson for Cumberland Farms, yesterday the company was notified that a delivery driver that visited the two Cumberland Farms stores in Westport tested positive for COVID-19.
The spokesperson stated that the driver involved was sent home and all the Team Members who were at the stores at the time were contacted and told to stay home and to contact a health care professional.
Cumberland Farms is working with the local Board of Health, and as a precautionary measure, both stores are being deep cleaned and sanitized which has caused the temporary closure.
