Two arrested on child molestation charges including local singer
Johnston Police are reporting two arrests on child molestation charges.
The Johnston Police Department have made two arrests in a reported child molestation that occurred on November 11, 2018. On November 26, 2018, Detectives from the Johnston Police Department arrested popular local singer Anthony Paul Cerbo, 40, and charged him with First Degree Child Molestation, a Felony under Rhode Island General Law. Through the course of their original investigation, using investigative techniques, and working with the victim they were able to identify a second suspect.
After securing a Court Authorized Arrest Warrant, Johnston Police Detectives responded to 756 (apt.#2) Quaker Lane, Warwick, Rhode Island and arrested Matthew C. Heuser. Heuser, 37, is being charged with Second Degree Child Molestation and Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Child Molestation, all Felony charges under Rhode Island General Law. Heuser was arraigned at Kent Conty Courthouse and given a PAC date of Febuary 28, 2018.
