Turtleboy blogger Aidan Kearney has one of three cases dropped by Norfolk District Attorney

This afternoon, the Norfolk District Attorney announced that the Office has filed a Nolle Prosequi in Norfolk Superior Court on Criminal Docket 2482CR00043.

The case involved charges of witness intimidation and wiretapping against Turtleboy blogger Aidan Kearney and have now been dropped.

Special prosecutor Robert Cosgrove had withdrawn from the case in September stating that he was being sued by Kearney’s alleged victim.

The remaining two dockets against Kearney continue to be prosecuted by Cosgrove, however, Kearney has filed to dismiss those two cases.

Kearney has gained national attention for his coverage of the Karen Read case and advocating for her release and innocence.
