Trip to Massachusetts variety store turns into $2 million win on State Lottery instant game

A trip to a Massachusetts variety store turned out to be very lucrative, resulting in a big State Lottery win on a scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, ISCO 2.0 of Bolton has claimed a $2 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Richard Pelletier, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Turnout Variety Store, 636 Main St. in Leominster. The store receives a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword has three $2,000,000 and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
