Trip to Massachusetts convenience store turns into State Lottery $4,000,000 scratch ticket win

If only the typical trip to a Massachusetts convenience store was always this lucrative for everyone.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Backseat Mayor Nominee Trust of Springfield has claimed a $4 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Extreme Cash” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Hyman Darling, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Honey Farms, 369 West Main St. in Northborough. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Extreme Cash has one $4,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
