According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Sonia Ortiz of Brighton has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “4,000,000 Cash King Doubler” $10 instant ticket game.

Ortiz chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans to help her family with the winnings. 

She purchased her winning ticket at Father & Son Market, 1437 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

4,000,000 Cash King Doubler has three $4,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
