Trip to Cumberland Farms results in $1 million State Lottery scratch ticket win for Massachusetts woman; here are her plans

A trip to a convenience store was very lucrative for a Massachusetts woman, resulting in a big State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Kristy Lambert of Blackstone is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Cash Doubler” instant ticket game.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Lambert plans to invest the winnings.  

She purchased her winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 1 Main St. in Blackstone. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
