Trip to a Massachusetts convenience store results in $15 million State Lottery scratch ticket win

One of the biggest prizes the Massachusetts State Lottery offers on a scratch ticket was hit recently.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Fortunate Sun Trust of Quincy has claimed a $15 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Diamond Deluxe” $30 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $9,750,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Millis Mart, 915 Main St. in Millis. The store will receive a $50,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

There is one $15 million grand prize and four $1 million prizes remaining in the “Diamond Deluxe” instant game.
