A recent big State Lottery win from a Massachusetts convenience store trip is resulting in an earlier retirement.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Baker Law Group Mass Lottery Trust XXII of Hingham has claimed a $1,000,000 prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 Stacked” scratch ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Michael Baker, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). The trustee said the winner plans on putting the prize toward retirement.
