Town of Dartmouth has a new Town Administrator leaving Fall River with a new position to fill
Dartmouth, MA – The Town of Dartmouth Select Board has announced who they have selected for the Town Administrator position which will result in Fall River having to fill a position of their own.
Bridget Almon of Warwick, RI, and current Director of Finance for Fall River, is the new Dartmouth Town Administrator.
Almon brings 30 years of experience in finance to Dartmouth. Before her position in Fall River, Almon was the Director of Finance and Operations at Foster Glocester Regional Schools.
The Town Administrator candidates in addition to Almon were:
- Shawn E. Cadime of Fall River, MA, currently Town Administrator for Seekonk, MA
- Gary J. Carreiro of Westport, MA, currently Director of Budget and Finance/Treasurer and
Co-Interim Town Administrator for Dartmouth, MA - A. D. Christian Vitale of Barrington, RI, currently Assistant Town Administrator and Co-Interim Town Administrator for Dartmouth, MA
In 2023, the Dartmouth Town Administrator made just over $190,000.
No word yet on when Almon will leave her current position.
