Tow company offering free ride and tow for intoxicated South Coast New Year’s Eve partiers
A local towing company will be offering free rides and towing to intoxicated drivers once again as part of its annual “Safe Rides Home” program.
Established in 2002, the program instituted by South Coast Towing Inc. will be available on Saturday, January 1st from 12:00 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Intoxicated drivers will be driven home safely and have their vehicles towed home, as well.
According to the company, the towns being covered with this service are: New Bedford, Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Fall River, Freetown, Mattapoisett & Westport, MA.
Local establishments hosting New Year’s celebrations are encouraged to take advantage of the program to make sure their patrons arrive home safely.
South Coast does not encourage heavy drinking, but wants to make sure everyone gets home safe and sound.
“We at South Coast Towing do not encourage anyone to get inebriated, but we know that people may sometimes drink more than expected. Happy Holidays and Be Safe.”
Call 508-995-9777 or 508-677-1869 to use the service or for more information.
