A local woman is hoping the public can help her find who hit her vehicle.

Michelle Soares of Tiverton was traveling alone on Route 195 East near the Swansea mall exit at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Sunday when she says a white SUV hit her and took off.

Soares says she is lucky to be alive thanks to 3 nice families who pulled over to help her get out. Amazingly, she says she only suffered minor injuries.

“Seat belts save lives.”

Soares asks that if you have any information, to contact Massachusetts State Police.
