Tiverton, Fall River, fire crews extinguish fire after occupant assisted out of burning home
Several local fire crews extinguished a fire on Wednesday evening.
According to the Tiverton Fire Department, at approximately 8:30 p.m., firefighters responded to Beech Avenue for a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, Car 3, the shift commander, found smoke coming from the attic. Car 3 assisted the occupant from the house.
Firefighters worked to quickly bring this fire under control.
Mutual aid was called in from surrounding communities, including Fall River, to assist at the scene as well as provide station coverage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
