Three people indicted for their alleged roles in a fatal stabbing in Plymouth County
Three people have been indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury for their roles in the fatal stabbing of a man in Brockton, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced.
Tynigel Belgrave, 28, and Emerson Munguia, 19, were each indicted on one count of murder. Tony Gomes, 35, was indicted on one count of larceny from a person.
The victim was identified as 27-year-old Steevenson Estimphil.
The stabbing occurred around 12:15 p.m. on November 24, 2025, in the parking lot of Jeff’s Place, an outreach program at 26 Spring Street. According to investigators and surveillance video, Estimphil was slammed to the ground and assaulted by multiple individuals during an altercation. He suffered five stab wounds, including one to the neck, and was transported to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, where he later died.
Gomes and Munguia were interviewed and arrested at the Brockton Police Department, while Belgrave was located and arrested in Worcester.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Alex Zane and was investigated by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s State Police Detective Unit and the Brockton Police Department.
