These two beautiful Fall River dogs are social butterflies and looking for a new home

Look at these pretty ladies, courtesy of Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week!

Layla is a five-year-old golden retriever and Sadie Mae is a two-year-old labrador retriever. These two beautiful girls come from the same home; they don’t HAVE to go to their new home together, but it would be cool if they did!

These ladies were clearly deeply, desperately loved by their owner. They are healthy and happy, well socialized, well trained, and just amazing dogs all around. They are both great with other dogs and good with cats. Forever Paws of course can’t guarantee that ANY of their dogs are 100% housetrained but these two are pretty darn close to it.

Layla is outgoing and social and will jump on you to say hello and give kisses. She knows her name and listens when called. She’s displayed zero food aggression but can get a little growly if you try to take a treat from her; this has NOT progressed to biting or snapping. Honestly, you would be a little growly too if you had a little sister like Sadie Mae trying to steal your things!

Sadie Mae is also a social butterfly with a permanent excited wiggle. She loves to play with other dogs but can get a bit rough and tumble. She’s a bouncy girl that loves attention but does have a bit of separation anxiety so crate training will most likely be beneficial for this sweet girl.

Layla would do best with children 12+ and Sadie Mae would do best with children 8-10+. Layla is about 70 lbs. and Sadie Mae is about 65 lbs.
